Why I fly
This past summer I finally got a DJI Mavic Pro. I had watched many YouTube videos about drones, drone reviews and instructional videos on how to fly them, and I was really excited to get one. The first day I flew I crashed within minutes! One of my propellers detached mid air and my Mavic Pro plunged down into asphalt. Needless to say, I was a bit stressed out because of that. But I didn't give up. I kept practicing and later, on a trip to Martha's Vineyard, I met a family friend, who is a professional drone pilot and photographer. Marc, taught me all the secrets about drones and how to fly really well! Ever since then, I have been flying every chance I get! I fly because its really fun! Plus, I get great pictures of Chicago and also places where I travel to (see upcoming travel plans)! I take pictures because I love good photography and I love to entertain. Once, a souvenir store owner told me he really liked my arial pictures and asked for some to sell at his store on consignment. That gave me an idea to build this site (which I did by myself) and offer my work to those who may be interested. Cheers!
